Anyone done both Fairy Falls hike and Shoshone Lake hike?

If so, which did you prefer? Unless Dh and I get in great shape before our trip (HA!), we%26#39;ll have time/energy just for one. I%26#39;ve read descriptions of both; they both sound great but I%26#39;m not sure which one I should pick over the other.

Oh--I should add the Shoshone Lake hike would just be out and back to Shoshone Lake (approx. 6 miles round trip)--not the long one that%26#39;s 12 miles or longer;-).
