If I am going through Yellowstone simply to get to the Beartooth Highway, am I going to have to pay park fees?
Driving through Yellowstone to Beartooth
Yes.

But the bison may be worth it!! You will likely see hundreds of them.
What is your trip agenda? If you can give us some more information on where you%26#39;re traveling from and your proposed route it would help a lot.
If you just want to access Beartooth Pass and do not want to go through Yellowstone Park you can drive east on I90 in Montana until you get to Laurel (10 miles west of Billings) and go south on HWY 212 to Red Lodge which is at the base of Beartooth Pass.
The $25 entry fee for the park is good for 7 consecutive days and is also good for Grand Teton National Park. If you%26#39;ve never gone through the park its definately worth going that way to get to Beartooth Pass.
