A river trip on the Snake is a must, either a float trip or a whitewater trip. The whitewater is perfect for families with a great mix of excitement and scenery. Dave Hansen Whitewater has always treated my family really well and they get some great comments on TA

Chuckwagon dinner is really popular. Bar J, Bar T5, and Grand Teton Covered Wagon. Bar J has a great show. Grand Teton has the best food and ride.

There are some great places for horseback riding. You can go up to Togwotee Mountain Lodge or to Mill Iron Ranch or to Jackson Hole Pack Trips

If you have kids, the Alpine Slide at the base of Snow King is great.

Wildlife tours are really popular activity. You can do this in your car...the advantage of going with a tour is that they have a great idea as to where the animals have been showing themselves.

Either doing the tram in Teton Village or the chairlift to the top of Snow King. Both of incredibale views.

Wildlife evening drives to Kelly or between the town of Moose and Teton Village. Granite Hot Springs too.

I would second doing the whitewater trip. We actually did the scenic and whitewater combo trip and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. We came last year and did not spend enough time in Jackson, so the family wants to come out again and have already booked another whitwater trip. We went with Dave Hansen Whitewater too and they were great.

Also, we really liked the gondola ride up at Teton Village (the tram was not open yet). We did it on a beautiful day and did some hiking trails too.
