Birthday During Vacation — How to Celebrate?

Hello. My husband and I will be traveling to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone this summer, with a two day side trip to Billings to visit his grandmother. My husband%26#39;s 28th birthday is on the same day that we%26#39;ll be driving from Billings back to Yellowstone (sleeping at a B%26amp;B in Gardiner that night). I%26#39;d like to do something special for his birthday. Any thoughts? I%26#39;m planing almost the entire trip by myself, so whatever I plan could be a surprise.

He loves ice cream, beer, beautiful vistas, cars, photography and woodworking. Are there any good ice cream places along the way? Breweries? I think we should take the Beartooth Pass for the scenery. Any other suggestions?

On the way to Beartooth, in Red Lodge, is Red Lodge Ales brewery. Perhaps worthy of a stop to try and maybe buy a birthday Growler to take to Gardiner. http://redlodgeales.com/ Caution...beer before high elevation along Beartooth could have extra complicating effects. Figure one = at least two. He can sample and you can drive but he might miss the beautiful vistas altogether.
