motel or hotel near Jackson Hole WY Airport

We are flying to Jackson Hole Airport in June, will be arriving late (and tired). Would like a recommendation for a hotel near the airport - simple, comfortable, a good place to sleep. The following morning we%26#39;ll head off to the Grand Tetons National Park %26amp; stay at the Jackson Lake Lodge. Flying back east from Jackson Hole Airport, same deal - we have a 6 AM flight out, would like to spend the night near the airport. Suggestions?

Thanks, fellow trip advisors.

The entire town of Jackson is within 10 miles of the airport, so any motel in town would fit the bill. It pretty much depends on your budget. Here is a link to lodging in Jackson.

Others will probably come on with more specific recommendations.

motel or hotel near Jackson Hole WY Airport

There are no hotels that I know of near the airport. The airport is pretty small, mostly CRJ jets.

If you are just looking for 1 night, inexpensive then take a look at Anvil Motel 215 N. Cache St. Jackson, WY 83001.

But, but as the other poster suggested, any hotel in Jackson would be convenient to the airport. Hotels in Jackson can be expensive, do you have a budget?

The ';closest'; hotel would be Flat Creek Inn. It is a no thrills hotel, but is simple. It is only about a mile or so closer to the airport than the town of Jackson. Other hotels on the north side of town are the Rustic Inn and Trapper Inn (both going to be more ammenties and more money) and the Anvil Inn and Kudar Motel. Flat Creek is about 10 minutes to the airport...the others about 15 minutes.

Thanks to all of you - just the info I needed.

www.dornans.com/ is about five miles north of the airport. Haven%26#39;t stayed in the cabins, but it gets good reviews.

The airport is really out of town, and nothing is there.

Last week, I stayed at the Quality Inn 49-er, and it was fine. It%26#39;s right in the center of Jackson.
