Hi! I was wondering which are the main attractions of the Lower Basin, other than the Fountain Paint Pots and the Great Fountain Geyser. As I%26#39;m going to the park before May 22, the trails that lead to those places will be closed (grrrr). Thus, I%26#39;m not really sure what%26#39;s left to visit. I%26#39;ve seen pictures of lots of geysers in the area, but I%26#39;m not really sure which ones belong to the parts which are closed. Could you please help me? Thanks!

What to see in Lower Geyser Basin?
It might be best to await your arrival and inquire. Trails might be clear or snowbound anywhere. And, there are other geyser areas to see. Plus, of course, wildlife.

Check on www.nps.gov/yell . The most recent info about closures etc will be there, plus lots of hiking info. You will have plenty to see and do in the park, so just enjoy and don%26#39;t plan too much.
