Help pls. w/location of ';Mormon Row'; from Signal Mt. Lodge

Hi all -

We%26#39;ll be at Signal Mt. Lodge in 5 weeks (can hardly wait!!) We%26#39;ll be in YNP first so I%26#39;ve been focusing on stuff to do in that park for the past few months.

I%26#39;ve been reading, and have seen beautiful pictures of barns, etc. on ';Mormon Row.'; My son is a photographer and I know he%26#39;ll want to hit this area with the early light for some photos. For mental preparation purposes, how far away from Signal Mountain Lodge is this area? I%26#39;m directionally challenged (it%26#39;s heredity) so hopefully we won%26#39;t get too lost so early in the morning.

I%26#39;d guess that Mormon Row is about 17 mi. southeast of Signal Mtn. Lodge. The staff at the Lodge will be able to give you a more accurate idea. It%26#39;s very easy to get to. Take Teton Park Rd. south. At Moose Junction, turn left (north) for a short distance, then right (east) on Antelope Flats. To view most of the historic settlement, turn right (south) onto Mormon Row. Mormon Row ends at Gros Ventre Rd. to the south. But you should also drive the short distance of the Row which is north of Antelope Flats, park and walk further up the road. Late afternoon is also a fantastic time to be there as the buildings are bathed in a rich, golden light. Visiting Mormon Row was one of the high points of my Fall trip.
