Priscilla's rest stop--what is the story there?

Today I stopped on my walk back to Teton Village at a little spot called ';Priscilla%26#39;s Rest Stop.'; It%26#39;s on the walking/bike path that runds beside the highway, just south of the TNP entrance on 89.

What is the story? I imagine the young woman was killed by traffic? It%26#39;s a lovely memorialization and a very lovely little spot.
