White Water Rafting: Please rec'd Gardiner or Jackson Hole

Hello,

I%26#39;m interested in doing some rough riding in June. Which River is best Gardiner%26#39;s Yellow Stone River or Jackson Hole%26#39;s Snake River? I%26#39;ll be staying inside the park at the Canyon Lodge for 5 nights. I can book a night near Mammoth Spring/Gardiner or a night in Teton/Jackson Hole for this white water trip as to make is more convenient. Please advise. Thank you.

I would suggest doing your river trip in Jackson Hole. For the time of year that you are coming, the run-off will be going good and the whitewater section is a great ride. The Snake River is a much bigger river with volume of water and when the water gets high from the run-off a few more waves show themselves.

There are a lot of good companies here in Jackson too. Dave Hansen is probably at the top of the list, but they are all good. Have a great trip.
