Our last day in Wyoming, we need to drive from Cody back to Jackson (where our hotel is).
I would like to plan a horseback ride with Dry Ridge Outfitters in Driggs, ID (my daughter is too young to do the trail rides, but they will do it there) for that day if I can squeeze it in.
I think we have to drive back to Jackson through YNP, so I know it%26#39;s not just as simple as going on Mapquest and calculating distance.
Does anyone have a rough idea how long it would take me to get from Cody either to Jackson or Driggs?
Driving time from Cody to Jackson
I would think a minimum of close to 5 hours to Driggs, but it could be longer if there is wildlife on the road in the park.
Driving time from Cody to Jackson
MapQuest calls it five hours from Cody to Driggs.... without any stops, so you%26#39;ll be looking at a long day, especially if you are dealing with in the summertime traffic. Trying to do all that in one day would be quite a ';squeeze!';
Thank you..it wasn%26#39;t what I wanted to hear, but I appreciate the advice. I kind of anticipated that it would be a long drive. Wouldn%26#39;t be impossible to squeeze in the horseback ride, but definitely a long day. Thank you!
