Ghost Town

Could anyone advise please where there is a Ghost Town worthy of a visit?

We are flying to Denver and then going to the Tetons and to Yellowstone.

We have recently been on a wonderful roadtrip to California/Nevada/Utah and had to miss several Ghost Towns due to time constraints so would very much like to see one this visit.

Thank you.

Not ghost towns, but Ennis and Virginia City, both in Montana, are interesting.

Ghost Town

South Pass City is a state historic site near Lander WY. Also near there is Atlantic City and Miner%26#39;s Delight/Hamilton City

I started writing my post before dinner after reading yours.. then after dinner promptly forgot what I had read! At least we are consistant!!! LOL!

So sorry that I haven%26#39;t replied but to say thank you for the posts.

Hopefully we will be coming this way and your contributions are most useful.

voyaging - glad you clarified that Ennis isn%26#39;t a ghost town :-)

We are interesting though!

Virginia City comes closer to qualifying, although it is the county seat here, but Nevada City - just a few miles further on definitely fits the bill!

Enjoy you trip minsagin!
