I have rejected much good advice on this forum and opted to move around quite a bit on our 10 day trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. We are staying mostly in cabins and other lodging where we should be able to drive up to our room and I hope this will make our plan work well. My question is how efficient does the check in and check out process tend to be with lodging in the parks? We are traveling the last week of July and early August. Can I expect long lines in the lobby? Do they have an express check out system where you just accept a delivered charge receipt and leave without returning to the lobby? Thanks for any feedback.
check in and check outChecking in early can frequently avoid those lines. We%26#39;ve never found checking out to be a problem. No express check out like you%26#39;re talking about that I recall. If you leave before the office opens, I seem to recall that there%26#39;s a box to leave the key in.
check in and check outCorrect, at exit locations there are boxes to throw your keys in. Check in lines are not bad earlier in the day.
